More often than not next Android version is already announced before the previous update reaches the masses, and that too is often buggy. All Motorola devices can be expected to receive Android L update as all of these phones run nearly stock Android, which speeds thing up by a wide margin. Sony, Samsung and LG have remained mum even after HTC flaunting a timely Andorid L update promise. Surely LG G3, Xperia Z2 and Samsung Galaxy S5 will also get the new Android L sooner rather than later, but due to customizations on top, we are not sure how much justice it will do the design aspects of the Operating system.
