Amazon India is trying to grab more attention from the consumers by listing products exclusively. Lately, the retailer was in the headlines for the exclusive availability of Samsung Galaxy K Zoom. Now, the same retailer has listed the OnePlus One and Xiaomi Mi3 smartphones for Rs 34,500 and Rs 37,450 respectively.
Talking about the OnePlus One, the 16 GB variant of the handset is listed by the portal and the device features a 5.5 inch IPS LCD display that boasts a FHD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels translating to a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch. The display is layered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating for added protection. Powering the device from within is a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC clocked at 2.5 GHz coupled with 3 GB of RAM for superior multi-tasking.
Furthermore, there is a 13 MP main camera with auto-focus, dual LED flash and 2160p video recording capability along with a 5 MP front-facer with FHD 1080p video shooting functionality in the OnePlus One. Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the phone uses a 3,100 mAh battery to energize it.
The other handset listed by Amazon India is the Xiaomi Mi3 with 64 GB storage. It has to be noted that Xiaomi has already tied up with Flipkart to sell its offerings exclusively. Hence, the listing of the Xiaomi Mi3 could be from a seller who has hold of the handset. The device is fitted with a 5 inch IPS LCD display with FHD 1080p resolution and a quad-core 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor supplemented by 2 GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi3 features a 13 MP primary camera sensor with auto-focus, dual LED flash and FHD 1080p video recording. This is accompanied by a 2 MP front-facer that can make video calls at FHD 1080p resolution. Furthermore, there is a 3,050 mAh battery under the hood powering enough life to the handset.
Coming to the pricing, the SIM-free 16 GB variant of OnePlus One is priced at $299 that translates roughly to Rs 18,000. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Mi3 has a pricing of $349 globally that converts to Rs 21,000 approximately. Hence, the listings on Amazon India are clearly too high from the international price tags carried by these two smartphones and this should be considered before you plan to buy them.
