LG Chromebase Based on Chrome OS Launched in India for 32,000 INR

LG has released its first ever Chrome OS device into the Indian market for Rs 32,000. This device is not a Chromebook, but a Chromebase that is a Chrome OS based all-on-one desktop. It has been announced that the device will go on sale in the coming days.

The LG Chromebase includes a 21.5 inch FHD IPS display that carries a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and LED backlights for comfortable usage in dark environments. Also, the IPS panel delivers about 178 degree viewing angles and a fast response time of 5 ms. Further, the device uses a 1.4 GHz dual-core Intel Celeron 2955U Haswell processor with integrated HD graphics and 2 GB of RAM.

There is 16 GB of internal storage space in the LG Chromebase along with a 1.3 MP HD webcam at the front. Other features onboard include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3 USB 2.0 ports, 1 USB 3.0 port, an Ethernet jack and 5W stereo speakers.

LG will also provide a range of accessories such as keyboard, cable organizer and mouse along with the Chromebase.


Besides, these aspects, the Chromebase also comes with software features such as Reader Mode that helps in lowering eye fatigue by providing optimal condition for reading and Minimal Flicker minimize the flicker level that may cause eye fatigue with its almost-zero flicker technology.
