In an attempt to impress the feature phone users, Microsoft has come up a couple of handsets such as Nokia 130 and Nokia 130 Dual SIM. The highlight of these affordable phones is that they arrive with in-built video and music player. Otherwise, the phones are similar to the Nokia 108 Dual SIM that was launched in India in October.
When it comes to specifications, the Nokia 130 and Nokia 130 Dual SIM are based on Series 30+ OS and flaunt 1.8 inch TFT displays boasting 160×128 pixel resolution. The handsets come with 2G connectivity and a 1,020 mAh battery that is rated to provide up to 13 hours of talk time, up to 864 hours of standby time and up to 46 hours of playback time.
Furthermore, there is in-built LED flashlight at the back, but no rear snapper for clicking snaps. Also, the Nokia 130 and its dual SIM variant feature the SLAM feature that enables multimedia content sharing between two handsets via Bluetooth. The feature phones have a micro SD card slot that supports expandable storage space up to 32 GB.
Microsoft has priced the Nokia 130 and Nokia 130 Dual SIM at 19 Euros (appox. Rs 1,550) and the handsets are available in a slew of color options such as Red, White and Black. It is claimed that these phones will be launched in across the global markets this quarter, while the dual SIM model has already been listed on the official India website.
