Moto G2 Might Start Retailing on September 10 for 250 Euros

Moto G2, The Successor of Moto G which surfaced in a GFXBench listing few days back with alleged specifications, might go on sale on 10th September according to sources at GSMArena. If availability dates are true, Motorola will most likely announce its next smartphone at IFA 2014.

While the specifications don’t show a major upheaval in hardware, the leak source claims a significant bump in price to 250 Euros (around 20,500 INR) which is around 100 Euros more than the retail price of Moto G 16 GB and Moto G 4G in UK.

Going by the previous leaks, The display size has been bumped up to 5 inches but the resolution remains unchanged at 720p HD. The processor used is same 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 backed by 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. Imaging hardware has also been improved and the Moto G successor will sport 8 MP/2 MP rear front camera combination.

Motorola will also soon launch Moto X+1, the successor of Moto X. The refreshed lineup will all feature Moto E like front facing speakers going by the earlier leaks. Alledged Moto G2 arrival dates give us one more reason to be exited.
