Panasonic Eluga A with Quad Core and 5 Inch Display at 9,490 INR

The display is 5 inches in size and sports FWVGA 854 x 480 pixel resolutions which implies your display won’t be very crisp (~195 ppi ) but very usable. Software is Android 4.3 Jelly bean with added features like “Fit Home” for better single handed usage and Kwik Lock.

Eluga A is powered by a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 quad core aided by 1 GB RAM for decent multi tasking. Internal storage is paltry 4 GB, which is slightly disappointing with several other 8 GB options lying in the same price bracket.

Imaging hardware includes an 8 MP rear auto focus shooter; a front 1.3 MP camera is also present according to the listing of Indiatimes Shopping. LED flash is also present for low light photography.

The 9.2 mm thick smartphone houses a standard 2000 mAh battery and also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge for faster charging. Other features include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, and GPS.

Expressing his pleasure on the launch, Mr. Manish Sharma, Managing Director, Panasonic India said “Through ELUGA, Panasonic will bring advanced technological innovations to the Indian smartphone users and with ELUGA A, we have successfully integrated into the premium gadget, advanced technology for Audio enhancements, voice clarity, faster charging, longer battery life and local language features, in tune with the needs of the Indian consumer.”

Panasonic Eluga A looks like a well balanced smartphone on paper which will be face fierce competition from the likes of Zenfone 5 and Moto G.
