Intex Mobiles appears to be in an aggressive rage to establish a strong presence in the South Indian market. Lately, the firm announced the Aqua Style smartphone with actor Sudeep as its brand ambassador. Within days of this launch, Intex has roped in Tollywood diva Anushka Shetty as its brand ambassador to launch the Aqua Style PRO smartphone bearing a price tag of Rs 6,990 at an event today.
Detailing on the specifications of the handset, the Aqua Style PRO running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system comes with a standard 4.5 inch IPS display with a FWVGA resolution of 854×480 pixels. A 1.2 GHz quad-core processor powers the device from within and this chipset is supplemented by 1 GB of RAM for efficient multi-tasking.
The handset comes with an internal storage space of 8 GB that can further be extended externally by another 32 GB by means of a micro SD card. On the imaging front, the Intex Aqua Style PRO is equipped with an 8 MP primary snapper that is paired with auto focus and dual LED flash. Also, there is a front-facing 2 MP selfie camera onboard. Other goodies in the handset include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 1,800 mAh battery to energize the device.
On the software front, the Android 4.4 KitKat based smartphone is pre-loaded with a slew of applications such as Real Football 2014, FOTA, OLX, Intex Care and Opera Mini. Furthermore, Intex is providing a free flip cover along with the purchase of the Aqua Style PRO priced at Rs 6,990.
