Micromax appears to be stacking up numerous smartphones in different segments that will be going official soon. While we reported about the listing of the Canvas XL2 A109 only recently, a new handset called Bolt A065 has been let out for sale on e-commerce portal Saholic carrying a price tag of Rs 3,799.
When it comes to the specifications front, the Micromax Bolt A065 is fitted with a standard 4 inch display that packs a WVGA screen resolution of 480×800 pixels. A 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6571 processor powers the handset and this is aided by a paltry 512 MB of RAM. Moreover, there is 4 GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded externally by another 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card.
In terms of imaging hardware, the Micromax phone features a very basic camera set comprising of a 2 MP fixed focus rear snapper with LED flash and a VGA front-facing unit for making basic video calls. Other goodies onboard this Android 4.4 KitKat based smartphone include 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 2,000 mAh battery.
The entry-level specifications of the Micromax Bolt A065 keep it on par with the other basic smartphones available in the market. However, the addition of 3G support for high-speed connectivity could have made the handset stand up against the competition and lure the consumer’s attention.
