First Xiaomi Sales day has been scheduled for 2nd September and learning from it’s mistakes, Xiaomi will retail 40,000 units for Xiaomi Redmi 1S in India on the first sales day. Since more than 100,000 users have already registered, the stock shortage on the first day will still persist.
Xiaomi Redmi 1S offers some serious value for money at 5,999 INR, with 4.7 inch 720 p HD, 312 PPI IPS LCD display powered by 1.6 GHz Quad core snapdragon 400 chipset aided by Adreno 305 GPU.
The Processor is aided by 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage which can be further expanded by another 64 GB using MicroSD card slot. The Dual SIM device has an impressive 8 MP rear shooter with large 1.4 micrometer pixel size, 28 mm wide angle lens and f/2.2 aperture. A front 1.6 MP unit is also present for video calling.
Software is Android 4.3 jelly bean loaded with feature rich MIUI on top. Xiaomi has beefed up its Redmi 1S stock as promised, but this too won’t be sufficient enough to quench the prevailing thirst. Check out our Xiaomi Redmi 1S Full review below.
