BlackBerry Passport Scheduled to Launch on 24th September

Blackberry will officially present BlackBerry Passport, on September 24, 2014. The event will take place in Dubai, London and Toronto on September 24. We already know everything about BlackBerry Passport from substantial leaks.

Besides a classic name, the device also flaunts a unique and unabashedly large form factor. Looks are further complimented by a sharp 4.5 Inch display with 1440 x 1440 resolution (452 ppi), made durable by Gorilla Glass 3 on top and a unique three row QWERTY keypad.

Inside BlackBerry Passport, a deft 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 quad core chipset, paired with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, will take care of performance aspects. The device also features a 13 MP AF rear camera with Optical Image stabilizations and a 2 MP Front snapper for video calling.

Other features include MicroSD card support, LTE, HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC and a 3050 mAh battery. On the software front, the phone is running on BB10.3 OS and might also come with BlackBerry Bland pre-installed on the device.


BlackBerry Passport won’t be a conventional BlackBerry phones, but it is hard to imaging BlackBerry fans wanting to stay away from it. We will talk more about it on September 24, 2014.
