Microsoft launched the Nokia X2, the second generation smartphone in the Nokia X lineup in India. Announced in June, the handset received the Nokia X software platform 2.1 recently that added numerous features such as support for Google series.
Now, Nokia has released this dual SIM smartphone in India for a price tag of Rs 8,699. The handset is given a 4.3 inch ClearBlack LCD display that has a screen resolution of 480×800 pixels. This display is layered with a scratch resistant glass that can protect it from everyday wear and tear. Under its hood, there is a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor that is teamed up with Adreno 302 graphics unit and 1 GB of RAM.
Storage wise, the Nokia X2 dual SIM arrives packed with a usual 4 GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded externally by another 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. The imaging department comprises of a 5 MP primary camera that is supplemented with LED flash and HD 720p video recording. Other goodies onboard the X2 are 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a 1,800 mAh battery.
The Nokia X2 priced at Rs 8,690 comes in a slew of color variants including Glossy Green, Black and Orange. The ClearBlack display technology will render exceptional outdoor visibility to the device. Furthermore, the Nokia X2 is preloaded with a slew of applications such as Nokia Here Maps, Mix Radio, Skype, Outlook.com, OneDrive and others. Also, Microsoft is providing free 15 GB of OneDrive storage to the smartphone.
