Back in July, LG announced the launch of its mid-range smartphone dubbed G3 Beat that is the downgraded variant of its flagship model LG G3. Now, it appears like the handset is all set to be launched in India as it has been put up for pre-order on the e-commerce portal Infibeam for a price tag of Rs 24,999 with an alleged shipping date of September 13.
To recap on the specifications, the LG G3 Beat boasts of a 5 inch IPS HD display with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The handset flaunts an impressive screen to body ratio of 74.1% that is claimed the best among the existing mid-range devices. Under its hood, the handset employs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor ticking at 1.2 GHz clock speed backed by 1 GB of RAM.
In terms of photography, the LG G3 Beat flaunts of an 8 MP primary shooter that is supplemented with LED flash and Laser Auto Focus as in the flagship G3. The Laser Auto Focus technology will help in focusing the subject by simply measuring the distance between the camera and subject with the help of a laser beam. The handset also includes a 1.3 MP front-facer that can take charge of video calling and the selfie department.
There is 8 GB of internal storage that can be expanded with the help of a micro SD card. Other goodies onboard the G3 Beat are 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS with GLONASS and a 2,540 mAh battery.
