Lava has added four new entry-level smartphones to its Iris lineup and the devices include Iris 400s, Iris 250, Iris 410 and Iris 400 Colors. These handsets are priced attractively between Rs 4,000 to Rs 6,000 to lure the price conscious consumers. The firm has also launched the Iris 404 Flair and Iris 352 Flair smartphones.
It is claimed by the company that these smartphones are highly suited for those consumers looking to upgrade from feature phone to smartphones with faster internet connectivity, better memory capacity, good camera and several other smart features.
Lava Iris 400s has a 4 inch WVGA IPS display with a 1 GHz dual-core processor and 512 MB of RAM. The handset has a 5 MP rear camera and VGA front camera. The smartphone is fueled by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is 3G enabled for faster internet access. It features 4 GB of native storage capacity that is expandable up to 32 GB.
The Iris 400 Colors running on Android 4.4 KitKat has 4 GB of native storage capacity along with 512 MB of RAM. There is a 1 GHz dual-core processor onboard and it also comes with 3G connectivity.
Next on the list is the Lava Iris 250 that has a 4 inch screen and a unique rubber finish that gives the phone a premium look. It features a 3.2 MP rear camera with a LED flash coupled with a VGA front camera. Lava Iris 250 has a 512 MB RAM for a smooth multi-tasking.
Lastly, the Iris 410 sports a 4 TFT screen and employs a 1.3 GHz dual core processor powered by the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. The device comes with 4 GB of internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB via a micro SD card.
