Karbonn Titanium S5 Ultra with Android KitKat Launched Online for 6,999 INR

The Android One initiative with smartphones priced from Rs 6,299 onwards has gained enough popularity, but it does not appear to put a halt to the launch of entry-level smartphones. One of the latest entrants to the market is Karbonn’s Titan. The smartphone is priced at Rs 6,999 and it is exclusively available on

Karbonn Titanium S5 Ultra

The Karbonn Titanium S5 Ultra flaunts a 5 inch qHD IPS display carrying a screen resolution of 960×540 pixels. It is stuffed with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor supplemented with 1 GB of RAM.

Fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, the Karbonn smartphone comes with  a standard 4 GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded by  another 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. The imaging hardware of the Titanium S5 Ultra includes an 8 MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash for an enhanced low light performance and a 2 MP front-facing selfie camera for video conferencing.

Connectivity options onboard the newest smartphone include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS and dual SIM functionality. There is a 2,000 mAh battery onboard that can pump in a decent backup to the smartphone.

While the specifications of the Karbonn Titanium S5 Ultra appear to be suitable enough for an entry-level smartphone, but the inclusion of a mere 4 GB of storage capacity is definitely a downside as many entry-level phone makers are drifting away towards 8 GB.
