Lenovo today launched Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro in India for 32,999 INR.The new flagship phone from Lenovo features Quad HD display and top of the line hardware packed in a slim 7.7 mm body design. Considering the hardware, the price tag is pretty aggressive. The smartphone will retail exclusively via flipkart starting 6th October, 2014.
The 2K, 1440 X 2560 IPS LCD display is 6 inches in size which amounts to 490 pixels per inches. To handle these extra pixels and consequent crispness, Vibe Z2 Pro employs 2.5 GHz Snapdragpn 801 quad core SoC with powerful Adreno 330 GPU.
There is 3 GB RAM for efficient multi tasking and non expandable 32 GB native storage for all your apps and data. Vibe Z2 Rom mirrored on the display is based on Android 4.4.2 kitkat, so you don’t have to worry about compatibility issue with any Play store app.
For photography, there is a 16 MP rear camera (16:9 sensor)with optical image stabilization, auto focus and dual LED flash and 4K Video recording enabled. A front 5 MP camera is also present for detailed selfies.
Lenovo has done a good job squeezing in a 4000 mAh battery in spite of the slim profile, without adding too much heft (179 g) in the process. Connectivity options include G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS, GLONASS and NFC.
According to numerous credible leaks, Google has chosen the same foot print for its next Nexus smartphone with a 6 inch Quad HD display. Upcoming Nexus Shamu will play a worthy rival to Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro in coming few weeks. Lenovo Vibe Z will retail exclusively on flipkart starting 6th October for 32,999 INR.
