The OnePlus One smartphone is yet to hit the retail stores across the global markets and so soon, rumors regarding its successor have surfaced online. It was only recently that the OnePlus was announced to receive an all new pre-order system that would debut next month. Now, the startup is again in the headlines for the successor of the yet to be released smartphone.
According to Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything), those at OnePlus are prepping a new smartphone dubbed OnePlus Two that will be a smaller device. It is claimed that the consumers prefer owning a smaller smartphone that is easier to carry around rather than the gigantic 5.5 inch OnePlus One.

As of now, it is not known if the OnePlus Two is a completely different device with an all new design. There are rumors suggesting that the next generation OnePlus smartphone will be codenamed Lettuce, but the other details regarding this alleged portable model remain a mystery.
Also, the report suggests that the OnePlus Two smartphone will be seeing an official announcement in the second or third quarter of the next year.
