LG appears to be all geared up to announced the L Bello smartphone officially for the Indian market. The handset has been listed on the official India website for Rs 18,500, but there is no word on when the device will be released. It resembles the flagship model, LG G3 with the incorporation of rear key and carries the credits for being the first mid-ranger to sport this design. Here is a quick review on the L Bello for those who are interested in buying it.
Camera and Internal Storage
The primary camera unit in the LG L Bello is an 8 MP primary camera with LED flash and support for FHD 1080p video recording. Along with this, there is a front-facing 1 MP shooter that that can take care of video conferencing and clicking selfies. At this pricing, the market is flooded with smartphones with selfie focused front cameras making this device a weak contender.
The internal storage is standard at 8 GB and there is an expandable micro SD card slot onboard that will support additional storage up to 32 GB. The storage won’t be a deal breaker at this price point.
Processor and Battery
The chipset used is a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor that employs 1 GB of RAM to render decent mutli-tasking. This hardware combination of a quad-core processor and moderate RAM makes the LG phone yet another standard offering. But, for this pricing, there are power packed devices in the market that arrive with larger RAM and octa-core chipsets.
A 2,540 mAh battery that powers the smartphone from within and it is rated to pump in a moderate backup of up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 600 hours of standby time on 3G.
Display and Features
There is a 5 inch IPS LCD display has carries a FWVGA resolution of 854×480 pixels that sounds pretty average with a low pixel density of 196 pixels per inch. The viewing angles should be acceptable with decent color reproduction as the handset incorporates an IPS panel. Again, for the price that the handset asks such a low resolution screen is pretty annoying.
LG L Bello runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and it features standard connectivity features such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Also, the handset packs in some camera centric features such as Gesture Shot and comes with rear key design as aforementioned.

Price and Conclusion
The LG L Bello carrying a price tag of Rs 18,500 will provide a great offering for the mid-range smartphone users who do not prefer to spend lot of money on buying high-end smartphones. Of course the handset lags behind in terms of competition as it misses out on a good display and great imaging aspects. Perhaps, if LG has used a better display, the handset would have become the most sought after mid-ranger in the market for now.
