Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the next big thing from Samsung will be officially unleashed in India on 10th October, 2014 according to an Infographic on Samsung’s official Facebook page . Coming shortly after Galaxy Alpha, the next Note has been timed just right to cash in on the festival season euphoria.
The Note 4 has several design similarities to Note 3, but the leading Android giant has improved on all aspects and continued the Note series tradition of pushing smartphone technology to its limit.
The 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display features 1440 x 2560 Quad HD 2K resolution amounting to 515ppi. The multitouch display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
This will be the first Smarphone with Snapdragon 805 to arrive in India. Snapdragon 805 SoC is Qualcomm’s flagship 32 Bit chipset with Krait 450 cores but like always, Samsung will opt for the Exynos variant for India.
The Indian variant will employ 64 bit octa core Exynos 5433, which is not necessarily a bad thing. The Exynos chipset combines 4 Cortex A57 cores clocked at 1.9 GHz and another 4 Cortex A53 ones at 1.3 GHz, aided by 3 GB RAM and 32 GB Internal storage.
The 16 MP primary camera feature Smart OIS and can record 4k videos. Samsung has paid due attention to front camera as well. Note 4 will have a 3.7 MP front camera with F1.9 aperture to capture 60 percent more light. You can click images by using heart rate sensor as shutter. The front camera can capture Wide Selfies.
S-Pen is more robust with added features like Smart Select (allows you to select multiple things from different places and bundle them together), Snap Note (click image and add Note), etc. Multi Windows has also been improved.
The 3220 mAh battery housed inside can charge to 50 percent in just 30 minutes. Samsung also claims a 7.5 percent improvement in battery life by reduced power consumption. Other features include improved noise cancelation, LTE Cat 6, Micro USB 3.0, Fingerprint Sensor, Heart rate sensor and several cases and covers.
