HP 7 VoiceTab with Android KitKat and Quad Core at 10,990 INR

HP has launched another tablet in its Voice Tab portfolio – The HP 7 VoiceTab. The tablet/phablet has been priced at 10,990 INR and is meant for those who won’t mind putting a 7 inch display device to their ears as well.

The 6.95 Inch display sports 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, analogous to budget Android tablets. The processor used is 1.3 GHz quad core chipset with MT8382 processor with 500 MHz Mali 400 MP2 GPU. The chipset is aided by 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage.

Software is Android 4.4 KitKat while other features include 32 GB MicroSD support, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n , Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG. Imaging hardware includes 5 MP rear camera and a VGA front camera which is standard in budget tablet, but slightly disappointing if you consider Android phones in the same price range.

The battery is 3000 mAh in size which is also mandatory considering the display size. HP VoiceTab is trying to entice users looking for a tablet and also for a large phablet, but it is indeed more of a tablet than a smartphone. HP VoiceTab 7 will retail on all major retail stores across India for 10, 990 INR.
