Xiaomi recently surprised everyone and added 150,000 Units to flipkart as part of Big Billion Day Sales and entire stock was consumed in a few hours. This is significantly longer than what flash sales usually last for.

Xiaomi Redmi 1S features a 4.7 Inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels powered by 1.6 GHz Snapdragon 400 quad core SoC. There is 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage on board as well. Several users have complained about heating issues, which we didn’t encounter with our review unit.

The dual SIM handset features a very good 8 MP rear shooter and a 1.6 MP front camera capable of full HD and HD video recording. All hardware is powered by a removable 2400 mAh battery. This is a lot for an asking price of 5,999 INR.

The company earlier announced that it will retail 100,000 units every week this Diwali season and the same has turned out to be true so far. If you are aspiring to buy this value for money device, registrations are still open on flipkart. Can we expect another 100,000 Redmi Note on the next sales day?
