Days after global launch, Lenovo has introduced refreshed Yoga series tablets or Yoga 2 in India, with are characterized by several operating modes. Android tablets will be available in three sizes 8 Inch, 10 Inches and 13 Inches. The 10 inches variant is also available with Windows 8.1 OS.
The Yoga 2 tablets are powered by quad-core Intel Atom Z3745 Processor (up to 1.86 GHz) with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB/ 32 GB (Yoga 2 Pro) internal storage. All three tablets have the same imaging hardware with 8 MP rear/ 1.6 MP front camera along with similar set of other features.
For rich audio experience, these tablets feature Dolby Wolfson HiFi audio and a new hang mode has been added besides Stand, Hold and Tilt mode. Lenovo promises 3 times improved CPU performance compared to last generation. Lenovo promises 18 hours of usage time from 6400 mAh battery in Yoga 2 Tablets and 9600 mAh in Yoga 2 Pro.
The improved 6 point hinge will makes these tab flexible for varied usage conditions, while Intel Burst technology enables them to wake up faster. The 8 inch Yoga 2 comes with voice calling and the 10 Inch Yoga 2 will have a detachable keyboard making it more suitable for productivity oriented users.
Yoga 2 8 Inch, Yoga 2 10 Inch and Yoga 2 Pro will retail exclusively on Flipkart, starting 17th October for 20,990 INR, 28,990 INR and 47,990 INR. The Windows variant of Yoga 2 10 inch will be available later for 34,990 INR.
