Xiaomi will pre-add Redmi 1S to Cart for Lucky few and Offer 10 Percent Off on Covers on Nov 4

As we talked about yesterday, Xiaomi has made it official that it will be offering priority pass to Xiaomi Redmi 1S buyers who have repeatedly failed to book a unit for themselves on previous sales days. Xiaomi will also offer 10 percent discount on selected Redmi 1S cases and covers.

This Tuesday, Xiaomi will be up with another 1,00,000 units and some of these will be automatically added to cart of those who tried but failed in the past. Similar to what Xiaomi did with Mi3.

So what are the eligibility criteria for priority pass? Xiaomi says it will select those lucky few via lucky draw. For Mi3, Xiaomi selected those who tried and failed 5 times, but things with Redmi 1S have been different. There have been many more sales days spread over considerably longer period of time. Therefore, 5 or would be a huge number this time. Xiaomi hasn’t specify how many Priority passes it will distribute.

With plenty of competitive budget Android smartphones Xiaomi Redmi 1S still leads as an extreme value for money device. Understandably it has a huge part in making Xiaomi Third largest smartphone vendor (well fourth after Lenovo Motorola Acquisition). Also since Xiaomi has started awarding Priority passes, we are expecting Redmi 1S sales to end very soon. Xiaomi will next bring in Xiaomi Redmi Note or Mi 4, either one of which is expected to arrive this December.
