India based iBall has announced the launch of a new entry-level tablet called iBall Slide 6351-Q40 carrying a price tag of Rs 4,299. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, the iBall tablet comes with standard aspects.
The Slide 6351-Q40 is fitted with a 7 inch WVGA display that carries a WVGA screen resolution of 480×800 pixels. Interestingly, the tablet’s display supports 3G graphics that lets users to view the display from any angle. Under its hood operates a 1.3 GHz quad core processor of unspecified chipset that is backed with 512 MB of RAM.
The tablet comes packed with 8 GB of native storage capacity that can be extended externally up to 32 GB as and when required. The connectivity options of the iBall offering include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB OTG for hassle free file transfers, but there is no 3G support though it is acceptable considering the pricing of the tablet.
Slide 6351-Q40 draws power from a 2,500 mAh battery that is rated to pump in up to 11 hours of talk time and up to 20 days of standby time respectively. There are dual cameras onboard – a 2 MP primary camera at the back and a VGA front facing selfie camera that will be handy for basic video conferencing.
