Alcatel to Launch One Touch Flash in India on November 21

Alcatel will be launching the One Touch Flash phablet in India on November 21 and will be exclusively available via the online retailer Flipkart. The device has been launched officially in Thailand as a competitor to the Galaxy Note.

The One Touch Flash is based on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and is fitted with a 5.5 inch IPS display with HD screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Powering the smartphone is a 1.4 GHz octa-core MediaTek MTK6592M processor that is teamed up with 1 GB of RAM.

The imaging aspects of the Alcatel offering include a 13 MP primary snapper that is accompanied with LED flash for a better low light photography. The 5 MP secondary snapper at the front looks after the video conferencing and selfies department. There is 8 GB of bundled internal storage capacity in the smartphone that can be extended externally by another 32 GB using a micro SD card.

Other goodies onboard the Alcatel One Touch Flash includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G. Furthermore, a 3,200 mAh battery that would definitely suffice in providing a decent backup to the smartphone helping it last for long hours.


Alcatel has posted a video hyping that the One Touch Flash would be a Samsung Galaxy Note competitor as it comes with superior specifications. Also, this clip claims that the device comes with HotKnot sharing feature.

As of now, the pricing of the Alcatel One Touch Flash remain unknown and we need to wait for the release of the same on Friday to know more details about the device.
