Domestic manufacture Celkon has today introduced its new flagship smartphone – Millennia Epic Q550, with a juicy 3500 mAh battery, phablet size display and quad core chipset for just 10,499 INR.
The 5.5 Inch display with 720p HD resolution places it in the same league with the upcoming and dearly awaited Xiaomi Redmi Note. The handset is powered with MediaTek MT6592M true octa core SoC, clocked at 1.4 GHz with Mali 400 GPU, 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage.
With 64 GB MicroSD support present, storage shouldn’t be a problem. Imaging hardware includes an 8 MP rear camera and a 2 MP fixed focus front shooter. You can shoot 720P HD videos from the rear camera.
In the age when smartphones are our constant companion, bigger batteries are always appreciated. Celkon Millennia Epic doesn’t disappoint with its massive 3500 mAh battery. Other features include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, Micro USB 2.0, USB OTG and AGPS.
Celkon has tried to squeeze in the best possible hardware at the respective price tag, at least on paper. But will this be good enough to face tier one competition under 10K INR? Celkon Millennia Epic Q550 will compete with phones like Asus Zenfone 5, Moto G 2nd Gen and Upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note.
