Update 22-11-2014: Amazon.in has teased what certainly looks like OnePlus One on its Facebook page. Looks like Amazon is the retail partner OnePlus has tied up with. This however doesn’t mean that you won’t need an India Specific Invite to buy One.

OnePlus has started a Never Settle contest for its Indian fans, through which it will list first 100 winners to get India Specific OnePlus One invites. The winner for the contest will be announced within 48 hours and this implies that OnePlus one has almost reached Indian shores.

To participate in the contest you have to shoot a selfie with “Never Settle” statement and post it as a comment on the Contest thread. You could end up winning one of the first 100 India specific Invites.

The unceasing chain of contest has begun, and this will be the first of many contest users can participate in to win an invite to buy the OnePlus One in India. We know that the 64 GB variant will be priced for less than 25,000 INR but exact pricing and launch date are anybody’s guess.

OnePlus managed to enrage several fans by introducing the invite system in Global markets, but most ardent supporters managed to get an invite eventually. It remains to be seen how India will react to this minimum risk business policy of OnePlus.

Other features include 13 MP Sony Exmor RS rear camera, confirmed Android Lollipop upgrade and 3100 mAh battery.
