HTC appears to be prepping the Desire 610 sequel reportedly dubbed Desire 620. The Taiwanese telecom regulator NCC has spotted the handset initially and now, Bulgarian blog has leaked the complete hands-on report of the device. The report appears to be taken down, but the Google cache of the same has been caught by the tech media.
As per Nixanbal, the Desire 620 will boast of a 5 inch HD display and employ a 1.2 GHz quad coreQaulcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with 64 bit computing. The report alleges that the smartphone runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat platform and packs 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of native storage space that can be expanded further.
The report also adds on that there will be an 8 MP primary camera with LED flash at its back and a 5 MP front facing selfie camera as well onboard. It is also said that the Desire 820 will get energized using a 2,100 mAh battery that operates under its hood.
Also, the Desire 610 sequel is believed to sport front facing speakers and arrive with a plastic body. If this report turns out to be authentic, the Desire 620 will feature marginal enhancements than its predecessor and will go official in 2015. It is claimed that the smartphone will be launched in January and will make its way into the European market for 255 euros with no word regarding its availability in the other regions of the global market.
