Datawind the manufacturer behind the low cost Aakash tablets that were meant for students has come up with couple of new tablets in its UbiSlate lineup today. The new tablets are dubbed UbiSlate 10Ci and UbiSlate 3G10 and they are priced at Rs 5,999 and Rs 9,799 respectively and they are up for grabs via Snapdeal.
When it comes to specifications, the both the tablets are given identical 10.1 inch displays carrying 1024×600 pixel resolutions each. The UbiSlate 10Ci is a Wi-Fi only tablet powered by a 1.1 GHz dual core Cortex A9 processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the 10Ci flaunts a 2 MP primary camera and a VGA front facing selfie snapper for video conferencing. Other aspects of this Wi-Fi only tablet include 4 GB of native storage capacity with support for expandable storage, Bluetooth and a 6,000 mAh battery.
The UbiSlate 3G10, on the other hand, houses a SIM card slot for voice calling and 3G connectivity and is fueled by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. This tablet is equipped with a dual core Cortex A7 processor at 1.3 GHz alongside 1 GB of RAM to handle moderate multitasking.
The UbiSlate 3G10 tablet bundles 8 GB of storage capacity with support for additional storage capacity. The other goodies of the 3G tablet include a 5 MP primary camera at the back, a VGA front facer, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 6,000 mAh battery.
