China based tech maker Huawei has launched its latest flagship smartphone called Ascend P7 in India. The smartphone that is awarded the prestigious European EISA’s Best Consumer smartphone product for this year is priced at Rs 24,799 in the country. Notably, the Ascend P7 comes with superior features and boasts of a beautifully crafted design that makes it a best in class smartphone.
Huawei unveiled the Ascend P7 in May 2014 and has received positive reviews from consumers and tech enthusiasts. The USP of the smartphone is its impeccable camera department that comprises of a 13 MP Sony BSI sensor primary camera at its back with a 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. In addition, the Ascend P7 comes with a front facing 8 MP camera that also includes a 5P lens and BSI sensor for clicking stunning self portrait shots and for exceptional video conferencing sessions.
This camera hardware is complemented with 10 level auto face and video enhancement that is focused at the youth, especially the selfie lovers. Also, it is claimed to arrive with Ultra-fast Snapshot that captures sharp images with 1.2 second shutter speed. Also, there are Image Signal Processer (ISP) and IMAGESmart 2.0 software on the handset.
When it comes to other specifications, the Huawei Ascend P7 arrives with a 5 inch FHD display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution that provides a screen to body ratio of 72.16 percent. The handset makes use of a quad core Kirin 910T chipset at 1.8 GHZ supplemented by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of native storage capacity.
The Android 4.4.2 KitKat platform on Ascend P7 is topped with Huawei’s Emotion UI 2.3 that comes with innovative features such as Shake to align icons, Harassment Filter, Permission Manager, Do not Disturb, Virus Scanner, Power Saving and Storage Cleaner. The handset gets its energy from a 2,500 mAh battery that is believed to pump a decent backup to the device.
