Salora Arya A1 Plus which we talked about recently has officially launched in India for 5,499 INR. For its respective price tag, Salora Arya A1 offers great value for money and some competitive hardware, similar to Arya Z2 launched couple of months back.
The display is 4.5 Inches in size, layered with 960 x 540 pixels amounting to 245 pixels per inches. The display technology used is IPS LCD with OGS for closers display experience with wide viewing angles.
The chipset is MT6582A quad core with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. This is what is fairly common in budget Android phones, but at this price, it’s a pretty good deal. The storage can be further expanded using MicroSD card slot.
Salora AryaA1 will be running Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. Imaging hardware includes 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front camera for selfies and video calling. The handset measures 9.7mm in thickness and weighs 145 grams.
The battery capacity is 2000 mAh which is again good enough in this price range. Other features include Dual SIM support, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. After sales support will be handled by Salora’s well established SILCARE network with over 250 service centers across 189 cities in India.
Salora Arya A1 Plus combines standard budget quad core hardware, but for an aggressive price of 5,499 INR. The handset is available for pre-order on Amazon.in and will start shipping from 13Th December onwards. We will publish our initial impressions and hands on review of the Arya A1 Plus very soon. It will compete against Android One phones, Zenfone 4 and Moto E in India.
