Samsung has today introduced its Tizen OS powered smartphone in India, dubbed as Samsung Z1. Looks like Samsung will be using its Tizen based smartphones to compete in entry level and midrange price segment where it’s bleeding money due to increased competition from domestic and Chinese players.
Samsung Z1, the first Tizen smartphone, comes with a 4 Inch PLS LCD WVGA display with 800 X 480 pixels spread across it. The smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core processor with 768 MB RAM, 4 GB internal storage and 32 GB MicoSD support. The chipset can play 720p HD videos.
