Videocon Infinium Z50 Nova with 5 Inch Display and Quad Core at 5,999 INR

After laying low for a while, looks like Videocon Mobiles is back in the Smartphone game. After Infinium Z50 Quad, the domestic manufacturer has launched another similar handset – Infinium Z50 Nova, modestly priced at 5,999 INR

Videocon Infinium Z50 Nova is a 5 Inch display device with quarter HD resolution, powered by conventional 1.3 GHz quad core MT6582 handset, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. There is a MicroSD card slot on board, which can be used for adding another 32 GB secondary storage.

Software is Android 4.4 Kitkat for rich and smooth Android experience. Videocon has included an 8 MP Sony Exmor R sensor with LED flash for the rear camera module and a simple 2 MP front facing selfie shooter, which is good enough to garner attention at these prices.

The Dual SIM Infinium Z50 Nova is fitted with a 1900 mAh battery. Videocon set of preloaded apps include V-Secure, V-Safe, Hungama, Fun Zone, GT Racing 2 and Modern Combat 4. Connectivity features include 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS.

Videocon Infinium Z50 Nova compiles standard budget quad core hardware, but for a less than usual price of 5,999 INR. The handset seems to do everything right on paper and gives us something to look forward to. Videocon is saving on the distribution cost and retailing Infinium Z50 Nova exclusively on Flipkart in Black and White color variants.
