With the debut of the new year, Xolo has announced an entertainment centric entry level smartphone called Xolo Q700 Club. The highlight of this smartphone is the incorporation of dual front facing speakers and IP55 certification. The handset has been listed on the official Xolo website for a pricing of Rs 6,999, but there is no mention on the availability of the smartphone.

Talking of specifications, Xolo Q700 Club is a dual SIM smartphone fueled by Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The device is given a 4.5 inch IPS display with a FWVGA resolution of 480×854 pixels resulting in a pixel density of 218 ppi. Under its hood, there is a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582M processor teamed up with 1 GB of RAM and Mali 400 MP2 graphics unit.

For storage, the Xolo Q700 Club is packed with 8 GB of default storage space that can be expanded externally by another 32 GB using a micro SD card. The imaging requirements are handled by a 5 MP primary camera at the back of the handset with LED flash and a VGA front facer for video conferencing and clicking selfies. The primary camera features scene detection, face recognition, panorama shooting mode, geo tagging, best shot, Smile shot and HDR for an enhanced photography experience.

In terms of connectivity, the Xolo Q700 Club provides 3G, A-GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and it is energized by a 2,000 mAh battery that is rated to provide up to 9 hours of talk time and up to 550 hours of standby time respectively on 3G.

As mentioned above, the Xolo Q700 Club smartphone sports dual speakers at the front for a great audio experience. Furthermore, the IP55 certification protects the device as it makes the phone resistant to dust and water to some extent. It also comes with freebies such as unlimited music and video downloads for three months via Hungama Music app.
