Gionee has come up with a new smartphone for the Indian market that is available from e-commerce portal eBay for a pricing of Rs 8,890. The handset was launched in November along with the CTRL V6L and Pioneer P5L LTE smartphones. The Pioneer P6 comes with a selfie focused front facer with LED flash that is its highlight.

Detailing on the specifications, the Gionee Pioneer P6 flaunts a 5 inch FWVGA display with a screen resolution of 854 x 480 pixels that results in a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch. The handset is stuffed with a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582 processor supplemented with Mali 400 graphics engine and 1 GB of RAM.

The storage department of the Gionee Pioneer P6 arrives bundled with a standard 8 GB of memory capacity that can be expanded externally by another 32 GB using a micro SD card. It boasts of a 5 MP primary snapper with LED flash at its back and a 2 MP front facing selfie shooter that is also aided with LED flash to click excellent low light self portrait shots.
