Intex is announcing several new smartphones constantly into the market and the latest offerings include Aqua Eco and Aqua Y3 that cost Rs 3,650 and Rs 4,490 respectively. Both the smartphones are listed on the official website of the vendor, but there is no information on when the devices will be made available.
Talking of the Intex Aqua Eco, it is fitted with a 4 inch WVGA IPS display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. There is a 1.2 GHz quad core processor operating under the hood of the phone alongside 512 MB of RAM and 512 MB of native storage space that can be expanded up to 32 GB.
The Aqua Eco boasts of a 3.2 MP primary camera at its back with LED flash and a front facing 1.3 MP front facing selfie snapper as well. Other goodies of the entry level offering include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, micro USB and Bluetooth and a 1,500 mAh battery that is rated to pump in up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time. The Aqua Eco is a dual SIM smartphone running on the dated Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean platform.
The Intex Aqua Y3, on the other hand, is bestowed with a 4.5 inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels and it is energized by a 1 GHz single core MediaTek MT6572 processor backed by 512 MB of RAM. Storage wise, the Aqua Y3 bundles 4 GB of native storage capacity that can be further expanded by another 32 GB. The device also comes with a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA selfie snapper up front.
Connectivity features onboard the Aqua Y3 include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, micro USB, GPRS/EDGE, GPS with A-GPS, 3G and dual SIM functionality. Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the Aqua Y3 is juiced up by a 1,600 mAh battery that can provide up to 4.5 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time respectively.
