Micromax Canvas Pep Q371 Entry Level Smartphone Launched for 5,999 INR

Micromax seems to be on a launch spree, especially in the entry level smartphone market segment. Following the Bolt A82, the vendor has come up with another device called Canvas Pep Q371. This new model is the latest entrant in the Canvas lineup and it is priced affordably at Rs 5,999.

When it comes to specifications, the Canvas Pep Q371 boasts of a 4.5 inch FWVGA IPS display with a resolution of 854×480 pixels. Powering the smartphone is a 1.3 GHz quad core processor of unspecified chipset teamed up with 1 GB of RAM. Fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat, the Micromax smartphone boasts of a 5 MP fixed focus rear camera supplemented with LED flash. Also, there is a VGA front facing camera onbaord.

On the specifications front, the Micromax Canvas Pep Q371 smartphone appears to be similar to the Canvas Xpress that was launched lately. It supports connectivity aspects such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and dual SIM functionality. Keeping things juiced up is a 1,700 mAh battery that should be capable of rendering a decent backup to the smartphone.

Talking about software, the Micromax Canvas Pep Q371 is preinstalled with Start Innovative lock screen app, MAD, Language solution, App centre, Ask ME, Clean master, Dr. Safety, Snapdeal, Quikr, Hello TV, True Caller, Opera Mini, Saavn and many others.

The Micromax Canvas Pep Q371 is priced at Rs 5,999 and it is available in Mystic Blue and Pristine White color options. The device will be available both online and offline from today.
