As expected, Motorola has launched the new Moto E 3G in India. The handset will be available exclusively on flipkart starting from tomorrow midnight for 6,999 INR. The 4G LTE variant with Snapdragon 410 SoC will arrive later.
Talking about hardware, the display is now 4.5 Inches in size, analogous to original Moto G, but the IPS LCD display resolution (960 x 540) and appreciatively, its quality remains same. scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is also present. The 4G LTE variant has a more up to date Snapdragon 410 64 bit chip, while the 3G variants gets 2 additional cores (Snapdragon 200 quad core) and Adreno 302 GPU. Both variants include 1 GB RAM and 8 GB expandable internal storage.

The rear camera module includes a 5 MP AF sensor sans LED flash and on the front surface a basic VGA camera is present next to the single metallic ear-piece bar. Battery capacity has been bumped up to 2390 mAh and sounds promising.
The back is no longer removable, but you can peel off flimsy side edges and even replace them with a color of your choice. Motorola explained that this part is most susceptible to damage in day to day usage and the option to easily replace side bars will help keep new Moto E in pristine condition for a long time. These side bands will also be available for purchase starting tomorrow midnight.
