The LG G Pad 8.0 is given an 8 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and it is based on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. The slate uses a quad core processor of unspecified chipset ticking at 1.2 GHz clock speed. This processor is teamed up with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of native storage space that can be further expanded using a micro SD card.

On the imaging front, the LG G Pad 8.0 boasts of a 5 MP auto focus main snapper and it is supplemented with a front facing 1.3 MP selfie shooter onboard. Though there is support for 3G connectivity in the LG tablet, the device cannot make voice calls and this is a downside of the slate as it is one of the most sought after aspects in tablets.

Software wise, the G Pad 8.0 boasts of features including QPair 2.0, Touch & Shoot, Gesture Shot, Smart Keyboard, and Knock Code that are common to LG devices.

Analyzing these specifications, it appears like the LG G Pad 8.0 is quite expensive for a pricing of Rs 17,999. There are several offerings in the market that are priced relatively lower and arrive with impressive specifications.
