Change Color effects and Fade the Images using Instagram new tool

Gone are those days, when we used to think that photographers always stays behind those lenses. In the current trend of Selfies, you will see that the photographer is not only the part of his/her snapped image but also the most focused area of that image. Instagram has always been updating their set of filters and other parameters which could be altered to make those images as good as possible. Recently they have added a Color Tool and Fade Tool, which are used to add a complete overlay of a certain color over the image, thus giving it a completely different outlook. Use Color Tool and Fade Tool on Instagram

Update your Instagram application and then open it to add any image on your timeline.

Once you crop the image, add filters to it and then reach the last stage of the changes, where tool are supposed to be used. For example, changing the contrast of the image colors or the brightness levels or increasing the sharpness. You will see both the options of Color Tool or Fade Tool among the other tools as mentioned below in the screenshot.


Now, tap Color tool, where you will see that you have many options of colors. You can tap on any of those colors and a layer of that color will be overlaid over the image, something which you are seeing below. You can tap on that same selected color again to change the intensity of color over that layer.


Similarly on that Fade Tool, a layer of white layer will be covering the whole image and you can already see a bar to change the intensity of that color.


So, you can now use these tools to change the colors altered by the filters or to add an extra effect on your own.


These features may not make a much difference but they are decent tool addition in the current applications and similarly by such mall efforts, Instagram has started involving more and more users on their application.
