updated on 2015-4-17: Lenovo A6000 Plus has now been officially launched at 7,499 INR. The handset will be available via flash sale retail mode. You can register today and participate in flash sales on 28th April, 2015.
After successfully selling over 300,000 Lenovo A6000 units, the Chinese manufacturer has today announced Lenovo A6000 Plus, which will double RAM capacity and internal storage to 2 GB and 16 GB respectively.
Since Lenovo A6000 was priced at 6,999 INR and Lenovo A7000 is selling for 8,999 INR, we expect A6000 Plus to be a Moto E 2nd Gen 4G LTE killing recipe for the same 7,999 INR price tag.
Other specifications remain same. There is a 5 Inch IPS LCD display with 720p HD resolution, fired by 64 bit Cortex A53 based Snapdragon 410 quad core chip with Adreno 306 GPU. There is a decent 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera, 2300 mAh battery, Android 4.4 KitKat based Vibe UI and 4G LTE connectivity as icing on the cake.
As already stated, Lenovo has already started selling 64 bit octa core MT6752 based A7000 on flipkart for a very reasonable price of 8,999 INR. Today it managed to exhaust 30,000 units in mere 4 seconds, in line with what you’d expect from first flash sale. What would you choose Lenovo A6000 Plus or Lenovo A7000 with a larger display and better silicon?

Moto E 2nd Gen will have to rely on smooth and nifty stock Android experience, while most other rivals are offering more enticing specs via Xiaomi established flash sale retail model. If you failed to place your order today, don’t worry. As always, when the demand dials down in next few weeks there are good changes of a convenient open sale.
