Besides the three Zenfone Models launched today, Asus has also introduced Zenfone Go, a low cost Zenfone and the Zenfone Max with a massive 5000 mAh battery. The company chose to remain mum on the price tag of the two variants as of now.
The Asus Zenfone Max is similar to Zenfone 2 Laser, except for the beefier battery. It includes a 5.5 Inch HD display protected by Gorilla Glass 4 and powered by Snapdragon 410 quad core with 2 GB RAM and 8GB/16 GB storage depending on the variant you choose.
For photography there is a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Real Tone flash, Laser Auto Focus and a 5MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens. Other features include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Dual SIM slots, 128 GB MicroSD card slot and Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.
The Zenfone Go on the other hand includes a 5 Inch HD display and is fired by a MediaTek quad core processor with 2 GB RAM. It includes an 8 MP rear camera paired with 2 MP selfie snapper. The rear camera flaunts a dual LED flash. This one too is running the same Android 5.0.2 Lollipop based Zen UI. Other details for the India variant will be revealed later in October when both phones officially hit retail shelves in India.
