Meizu will soon launch Mx 5 in India in partnership with Snapdeal before the end of this month. The news comes from one of our reliable sources. The MX5 is a slim full metal drapped smartphone which was earlier launched in China starting from 1,799 Yuan (Approx 18,500 INR).
Talking about specifications, the Meizu MX5 flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display powered by a 64MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795T octa-core -bit processor paired with PowerVR G5200 GPU and 3GB of RAM. In China, it was launched in 16GB,32GB and 64GB internal storage variants, but in India, Meizu is more likely to launch the 16GB variant first. All variants support SD card expansion.
On the rear side, there is 20.7 MP sensor with Laser AF, two tone flash and 4K recording capability. For selfies, there is a 5 MP front camera with wide angle lens. The 3150 mAh battery inside the 7.6 mm slim metal casing can charge up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes. Other notable features include Fingerprint scanner integrated with the home button, dual SIM card slots, 4G LTE, and Android Lollipop based FlymeOS.
