Huawei will soon launch nerxt Honor series flagship, Honor 7 in India. Honor, the online exclusive sub-brand of Chinese manufacturer has bestows several commendable and affordable mid range smartphones, including the Honor 6. Honor 7 should continue the same legacy.
Hardware vise, the Honor 7 holds more than a few marvels. To start with the 5.2 inch display with 1080p full HD resolution is lined with very narrow bezels (72.4 percent screen to body ratio) and is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 935 (Quad-core 2.2 GHz Cortex-A53 + quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53) with MaliT628MP4 GPU, 3GB RAM and 16/64GB expandable storage.
This is the same GPU as the one in last generation Kirin chipsets, and this makes us cynical about how well it would hold with high end gaming. Then again, gaming has never been the forte of Kirin SoCs. This is a hybrid dual SIM device, which means you will have to opt between second SIM card and microSD card slot.
For photography, there is a 20MP rear camera with dual LED flash, and an 8 MP front camera, also with LED flash. It isn’t an ultra Slim phone, measuring 8.5 mm around the waist, but that is understandable trade-off as Huawei had to house a bigger camera sensor. A 360 degree fingerprint sensor is also present on the rear side.

Other features include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, NFC and 3100mAh battery.
Testing units for Honor 7 have already reached Indian shores. The handset is likely to be officially introduced in India in the next few weeks.
