The 5.5 Inch Super Amoled display, with Gorilla Glass 3 on top, has 1920 x 1080 pixels layered across it, handled by 2.2 GHz MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) Octa-Core 64-bit processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU, with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. 32GB and 64GB variants will be available in India later.

The rear camera includes 20.7 MP Sony IMX220 Exmor RS BSI sensor, with dual tone LED Flash, Laser Auto focus, 6P f/2.0 aperture lens and can record 4K videos. The front 5MP selfie unit also has a wide f/2.0 aperture lens for uncompromised selfies.

Within the 7.6mm slim body, MX5 manages to wrap in a 3150 mAh battery, which supports rapid charging and can charge to 50 percent in just 30 minutes . Other features include 4G LTE (TD-LTE / LTE-FDD) / 3G HSPA+ , WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and mTouch 2.0 fingerprint sensor.
