Lenovo Launches Phones With Massive Batteries; Lenovo Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m

Lenovo has brought the Lenovo Vibe P1 and Lenovo Vibe P1m to India, not too long after they were announced last month at the IFA Berlin. The duo has come up with a unique standout feature like most of Lenovo’s phones, which are the huge battery sizes. The Lenovo Vibe P1 costs INR 15,999 and the P1m costs INR 7,999. The Vibe P1 will be available from 27 October and the Vibe P1m on the 28 October but registrations for the devices starts today exclusively on Flipkart.

Out of the two, Lenovo Vibe P1 is better and features a bigger battery than the other. It comes with a 5.5 inches full HD display powered by an Octa-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snadragon 615 SoC, paired with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB storage.

It also features a fingerprint sensor, and the highlight of this device is the massive 5000 mAh battery which comes with 24-watt charging capability that is claimed to fasten the charging in smartphones. It has a 13 Megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5 Megapixel front snapper. It supports microSD card up to 128 GB, and dual nano-SIM cards.

The Vibe P1m on the other hand features a smaller display of 5 inches with 720p resolution. It is powered by 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with 2 GB RAM and 16GB storage. The camera in this one has been reduced to 8 Megapixel on the rear and a 5 Megapixel on the front. Other than this, it includes 32 GB of microSD card support, dual-SIM support and a 4000 mAh battery.


Both the handsets run on Android 5.1 Lollipop and feature USB OTG support, they can also charge other devices like smarphones , headsets, portable speakers etc using their own battery.
