Lenovo Vibe S1 announced back in September at IFA 2015 is finally going to be unveiled today. The best thing about this smartphone is that it comes equipped with Dual front cameras for state of the art shooting capabilities. The smartphone carries a price tag of INR 15,999.
Based on Android 5.0 Lollipop, Lenovo Vibe S1 is a gorgeous looking metal clad smartphone and sports a regular 5.0 inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. It is powered by 64 bit octa core MediaTek MT6752 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM for flawless and effortless multitasking. The internal storage capacity of this smartphone is 32 GB which can be further expanded up to a hefty 128 GB with microSD.
The highlight of the smartphone are the camera features. It comes with a 13 MP phase detection autofocus rear camera along with dual tone flash. On the front there are two cameras – one is 8 MP and other is 2 MP. While the 8 MP camera captures the image the secondary 2 MP camera adds the depth of field effect by simply optimizing what is in the front and blurring the background. Although, we have seen this setup being used by some smartphones earlier but not with the dual camera setup.
Basically this smartphone is for the selfie lovers and also for those who want to capture perfect moments via lenses. A 2500 mAh battery is powering the smartphone which is a little bit of a downside as most of the smartphones these days come with a 3000 mAh battery or more. Lenovo Vibe S1 will be available in White and Purple color tones which is an added delight altogether.
