Coolpad Note 3 Lite Unboxing
The Chinese OEM has packed the handset in a very compact, simple and decent looking white box. The box does not have any images of the phone or any unnecessary text; it only has the name of the brand and the device written in small and simple font.
Coolpad India official website address is printed on the top and bottom sides of the box. We did not find any configurations or features written on the box, only the LTE bands and IMEI are mentioned at the back with the name of the colour.
Coolpad Note 3 Lite Box Contents
Opening the box, we found the handset resting on the top packed inside a plastic, under which it contains a 2-pin wall charger, a micro-USB cable, and the in-ear earphones. The box items are white in colour and are decently packed.

The Coolpad Note 3 Lite has a very basic design and is majorly made up of plastic. It is a 5 inch display phone, fits perfectly in one hand and the built feels pretty sturdy. It also has a textured back which makes gripping on the phone easier. It looks very basic from the back but the shiny gold lining on the sides add a little class to the looks.
On the front, you’ll find the speaker in the center, front camera and the sensors on the top. Capacitive touch navigation buttons are at the bottoms which are not backlit.
The volume rocker is made up of plastic and is placed on the right side.
Power and lock key is on the right hand side of the phone.
3.5 m audio jack is located on the top and micro USB port is at the bottom.
At the back side, 13 MP rear camera is located on the center top with the LED flash on the right and a dedicated mic above it. A square shaped fingerprint sensor is placed right below the camera lens.

It has a Cool UI 6.0 by Coolpad which gives some nice options like custom themes with new wallpapers and also allows you to change the font. You have some custom features like gestures, double tap to wake up when device is locked and display is turned off. You also have support for off-screen alphabetical gestures, like draw a c to launch the camera and more like these.
The gaming performance on this device is impressive; it performs the same way its predecessor did. Aggressive gamers and users who want a budget device can go for it without any doubt. We installed games like Asphalt 8 and Dead Trigger 2, both the games were handles smoothly by this device and the game-play did not show any lags except some minor frame-drops, which can be expected from any device with such hardware configuration.
The Mali-T720 GPU does a fair job in handling graphic greedy games. We did not face any issue playing games at medium graphic quality.
For those, wondering about the heating issues, there was no sign of abnormal heating either.
