Moto X Force With Shatterproof Display Launched in India

Lenovo Owned Motorola with its aim to further strengthen its stronghold in Indian smartphone market has launched yet another smartphone that goes by the name of Moto X Force. The feature that makes this smartphone remarkable is that it flaunts a shatterproof display. Yes you heard it right, the display of this smartphone is unbreakable.

Moto X Force was announced back in November 2015, and it is launched in India at INR 49,999 for the 32GB variant, and INR 53,999 for the 64GB variant. It will be available on purchase from February 8 via Amazon India, Flipkart, and physical retail stores. It will also be available on offline retailers including Croma and Spice, the colour variants will be Black, Grey, and White.


The highlight of this device is the display, it is made up of an aluminium rigid core, flexible Amoled screen, and dual-layer touchscreen panels. The dual panels help when any one of the touch panel get damaged, you can keep working using the second panel. Company claims that the display wouldn’t break into pieces even when dropped on a slab of concrete. On top of all this, Motorola offers a 4-year replacement warranty in case of accidental damage to the display.

Moto X Force flaunts a shatterproof display measuring 5.40 inches featuring Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution with 540 PPI screen density. This smartphone is powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 chipset clocking 2.0 GHz and comes equipped with 3GB of RAM. You will get 32GB of on-board storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

Android 5.1.1 based Moto X Force features a 21MP rear camera with 5MP front facing camera for selfies and video chats. The rear camera comes with f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash and Phase Detect Autofocus as well.

It is a single sim smartphone accepting Nano-sim and comes with all the usual connectivity features like 4G, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS among others. It is fueled by a whopping 3760mAh battery under the shell to keep it running for longer periods of time without needing charge.
