Oppo F1 Gaming Performance

You can even get away with some intensive 3D games such as Dead Trigger 2 with ease, we played it for 20 minutes at high graphic details and it was handling it very well. After a point of time, it strarted showing minor framedrops but it was not something that will affect the gameplay. We also tried Asphalt 8, we played it with medium graphic setting as the high graphic settings were freezed. The gameplay was smooth and it was easily handling this game as well. It took a little longer than usual to load the stages but it was still nothing abnormal.

Note- The gaming tests are done under atmospheric temperature of 18 Degree Celsius.

Oppo F1 did heat up a bit around the camera but when we recorded the temperature, it did not exceeded 40 degree celsius at any point of time.

Oppo F1 Performance and Benchmark Scores

The Oppo F1 is powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor. This is coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. The specs on paper do look nice, and the device should give some great results for the benchmarks.

Here is a table showing the various benchmark scores that the device got. We used Antutu Benchmark, Quadrant Standard, Geekbench 3 and Nenamark 2 for testing the device.

Verdict

The Oppo F1 is targeted for people who have love for photography. This is not just any regular smartphone according to the company and I will personally test the device for its camera in the full review of the device. Be sure to stick around to read that in the near future.
