Intex Aqua View Launched With Eyelet VR Cardboard For INR 8,999

Intex has launched its new budget smartphone in the Aqua series, dubbed as the Intex Aqua View. This smartphone comes bundled with company’s first VR cardboard headset called as Eyelet. The device has been priced at Rs. 8,999 and is available in Grey and White colors. The device will be sold across the country by retail stores.

The device features a 5 inch HD (720p) IPS display and comes with a 2.5D curved glass technology. Under the hood it runs a Mediatek MT6735P 64-bit quad-core CPU which is clocked at 1GHz. It has got 2 GB of RAM coupled with 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card slot.

On the camera front, it has got a 8 MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. On the front, it comes with a 5 MP camera which is perfect for selfies. It has got physical home button which also works as a Fingerprint sensor.

The Intex Aqua View is a dual SIM device which supports 4G and VoLTE as well. It’s backed up with a 2200mAh Li-ion battery. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has got all the basic sensors including gyroscope. It weighs around 146 grams and measures 123 x 64 x 10.33mm.

The Intex Aqua View comes bundled with the Eyelet VR which allows users to experience contents in 360 degree. According to the company, Eyelet VR is the first Google-certified VR and is based on Google Cardboard version 2. The Intex Aqua View comes with an in-built cardboard application. This VR will work with any smartphone which supports gyroscope and accelerometer. It has got 34mm lenses and supports smartphone with screen size up to 6-inches.
